The name Mock Town represents the mocking of dreams that the Bellamy Pirates do towards the dreamers.

Bellamy says that myths like El Dorado, The Emerald City, and One Piece are for fools who like to dream. Something interesting to note is this "Emerald City" that Bellamy mentioned but has never been elaborated upon in the story. The Emerald City is the capitol of The Land Of Oz in The Wizard Of Oz.

El Dorado was the name of the gold cities that Spanish Explorers claimed to exist in the New World.
