The story of One Piece is, above all, a process of getting from point A to point B. This happens at a personal level, but also at a geographical level. Literally, the crew is traveling from a point of the world to another. That's the main theme.

They travel, by sea and on a boat, so their trip consists on going from island to island, until the either die or reach their destination. That's the whole rithm of the story.

After visiting a couple of islands, the third destination is a little island called Syrup Village.

In Syrup Village, Luffy, Zoro and Nami meet Usopp, who will become the fifth member of the crew.

Who is Usopp? That's a difficult question to answer. He is a complex character. He is quite disliked among fans, but I must admit that he is the character I identify with the most.

I also think that he is the most complex character. He is the most difficult to figure out. In this sense, he is the most normal of them all.
