Big Mom

Communism
Big Mom's dream is of equality and peace, where there is no discrimination, of any type. Since in the world of One Piece there are many races, and discrimination mainly occurs regarding races, Big Mom tackles that by creating a land where everybody sits at the same table, eye to eye, and eat what she likes and drink what she likes.
In order to live in this land, however, there is a caveat. Big Mom has a power where she can extract the soul from people and put it into objects. This is useful because she can create objects that follow her command and she deploys them as she likes. For instance, she has a ship that can talk and move on its own accord. Another example: there is a whole forest where everything is alive: trees can move, bridges can move... and she uses this as a trap for strangers, as they get lost forever in this forest where the forest itself moves around. She even gives anima to the sweets and desserts that she devours whenever she has cravings.
Now, for this power to work, she has to extract the soul from living people, and them give it to an object. In some cases, she extracts 80 years out of a person and kills them right then and there, and then that soul is used to create an animated object. But she can take one or two years, in such way that it wouldn't kill you.
Every person in the kingdom must donate one month of their life-span every six months. Citizens have to go to a church-like place, and there a small ritual is performed where the person is given two choices: life of leave. Life means precisely that they give away a piece of their soul, so that Big Mom uses it somewhere where it serves her tyrannic machinery. And "leave" means that the person is kicked out of the kingdom. But no one choses this, because it's not a viable choice for most people: it's very dangerous outside the kingdom, it's the unknown. And anyway, what we see is that most people agree to this exchange happily.
So this is a form of paradise. It's egalitarian. Usually, making something egalitarian, equally great for everyone, is impossible: because different people want different things. This is solve thanks to Big Mom: it's her criteria the one that is applied to measure and determine everything. So everybody gets the same, and no one can want something else. And it's peaceful, because everything goes
Blindness is a must-have feature in this kind of paradise. A good example is that which happens after Big Mom gets one of her cravings. Big Mom is a really fun person, because she has cravings for sweet stuff, like we all do, right? But she is very powerful, and no one can tell her no to anything. So without checks in place, her cravings are tantrums are considered like natural disasters, right? Like it was something about nothing can be done about. So in this case, she feels like having a Croquembouche, a rare French dessert. And she starts destroying the city in anger, totally out of control. Buildings are destroyed by her anger, and she puts citizens in great danger. In this case, one of her sons decides to try calming her to protects the citizens, and she basically kills him, as the other brothers watch powerless.
Then, she gets the Croquembouche, and she really enjoys it. And she asks about the state of the city, in a really disgusting way: "The city looks great, did something happen?", and she is told that they don't know what happened, and she is pleased with this ignorance.
That's wilful blindness on her side, enabled by her sense of power, and also wilful blindness from everybody else, enabled by fear mostly. So no one wants to speak the truth.
So this is the price of paradise: you must sacrifice the truth, you must all live by the subjective standards of the Big Mom and you must sell a piece of your soul to maintain the system. Thats how you get a utopia of equality and peace.
If that is not a metaphor of communism, I don't know what is.
Big Moms policy is that everyone is welcome to her paradise. But if anyone tries to leave, she kills them. He literally says.
Permission to kill
Big Mom has no problem killing, because she has a really good reason: she knows what's the greater good: "Those who disobey are just being selfish so I have to kill them".
This kind of rule is destined to fall. One of the reasons is that people are so afraid of punishment that they stop trying things, and they go to great lengths to hide whenever they make a mistake.
In this case, Opera, who has Luffy imprisoned, loses them. Someone helps them scape. Now when big mom's team is trying to asses what's happening, they have wrong information: Opera tells them that he killed them, because he's to afraid to admit that they escaped. He's afraid because Mama's punishment would be killing him, so he has no option but to lie. Due to this, big mom's team operate under false assumptions.
This is exactly what happened at Chernobyl.
Also, all ranks of power are decided in a familial basis. This is pure nepotism. Mama only appoints her sons and daughters as generals.
The reason why tyrannies can't work is that everything that's different to the rules is punished. So no matter how cool the rules is, she will have some flaws. In a non-tyranical system, one or many of the subordinates will be different from the leader in many ways, which may create conflict, but benefits the whole of the organization because there is people thinking in every way. But if everyone thins like the tirant, there is no way that her biased can be solved by other points of view.
Fascism
The Germa Kingdom is ruled by the Vinsmoke Family, whose patriarch, Vinsmoke Judge, is the reigning king; his wife, the late queen Sora, is deceased. Unusually among royal families, the Vinsmokes are also the commanders of their nation's military, Germa 66, leading them directly in combat and other mercenary situations.
Vinsmoke family represent fascism, this is easily displayed in many things. One of them is this image
So the most famous fascists regimes where Franco in Spain, with the falange. Berlusconi in Italy and of course Hitler in Germany.
So this is a patriarchy, and the leader, who's the father of the family, is referred to a Generalisimo; which is what people called Francisco Franco. So that's a very easy reference.
The references to Germany are even easier.
The emphasis here is focusing too much in strength, war and military power, and rejecting the humanity, compassion and kindness. In fact, the reason why the father despises his son is because he is nothing but human. He is sickened by that.
He actually pretends that his son, Sanji, is dead. And he locks him in the basement, wearing an iron mask that covers. His face and his identity as the leader's son.
This is the price of strength. You must lock down you humanity. You must despise the good in you. If you can manage that, then you may succeed.
Sanji is a very gentle soul. He wants to be a cook, and he's found even cooking for rats.
The majority of the citizens in the Germa Kingdom are predominantly-male soldiers who comprise Germa 66. Most of those soldiers are clones of former exceptional soldiers, created using the Vinsmokes' technological capabilities.
The large bird in the kingdom's throne room could be a reference to: The Garuda Pancasila, the national emblem of Indonesia. As the name suggests, the emblem depicts the Garuda, which is also the epithet of Vinsmoke Judge. The Reichsadler, from the Nazi-Regime under Adolf Hitler. The uniform is also similar to the Reichsuniform.
In addition, Germa's insignia, as displayed in their throne room, is likely a reference to the insignia of the Nazi-inspired terrorist organization Shocker, from the television and manga franchise Kamen Rider.
